I Forgot is a personal organization application operated under the Recall Labs name. This Privacy Policy explains the information processed to provide the service and the choices available to users.
I Forgot processes the information necessary to create and operate an account, including an email address and authentication information handled through our authentication provider. The service also stores content that a user chooses to create, such as vault entries, notes, recipes, goals, letters, tags, and related app data.
Information is used only as reasonably necessary to authenticate users, save and synchronize user-created content, provide search and organization features, support password recovery, maintain service reliability, and respond to support or security needs. Recall Labs does not sell personal information and does not use user-created content for third-party advertising.
When AI-assisted organization is used, limited fields from a newly saved memory, such as its title, details, category, and tags, may be securely transmitted to an AI service provider to generate organization suggestions. The user's original title and details are not automatically overwritten by that process.
I Forgot relies on third-party infrastructure providers for services such as hosting, authentication, database storage, transactional email, and AI-assisted organization. User information is stored only to the extent needed to operate these features and is processed subject to the security controls and terms of the applicable service providers.
Data transmitted between the app and its service providers is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections. We use reasonable technical and administrative safeguards appropriate to the service; however, no online system can guarantee absolute security. Do not store passwords, bank account numbers, payment card numbers, government identification numbers, authentication codes, or other highly sensitive personal or financial data in I Forgot.
Users may edit, export, or delete individual saved items through the app. A signed-in user may also permanently delete the account from Settings → Delete Account. Account deletion requires password confirmation and is intended to remove the authentication account and app records associated with that account. Limited technical logs or provider backups may remain for a period of time where required for security, operational integrity, legal compliance, or the normal backup practices of a service provider.
Recall Labs does not sell personal information. Information may be disclosed to service providers only as needed to operate the service, or when disclosure is reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users, investigate abuse or security incidents, or protect the rights and safety of the service and others.
I Forgot is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
This Privacy Policy may be updated as the service changes. Material updates will be reflected by revising the effective date above.
